I bought the projector in US and brought it back to Saudi Arabia. I have tried to connect it to cable here but it doesn't work. Someone mentioned that they have PAL in Saudi while US is NTSC or SECAM. Is there a quick solution? Connect an external cable box via HDMI...That's what I'm doing (not Saudi, and a satellite box, but same principle in a PAL country) To This, lg 1000u, can I connect with my tata sky cable TV and play 24 hours like running TV in India...? The projector manufacturer does not write the software for the applications found on the device and in the LG Content Store. As such, if the software developers do not write application software for this unit’s application platform, then the apps will not be available for use.

Is it possible to display the image vertically? So for example the image 100in from top to bottom not wide. I have the same question. Turning the projector by 90 degrees doesn't mean that you would cover the ventilation area, you can also use some mount to attach it by the projector bottom on a vertical surface. Concerning this, is there any other obstacles to use this projector in vertical mode? Miracast is disabled after sometime. Smartshare is always working, wifi connection is good.
