STANFORD (CBS SF) — Prom time is coming soon to high schools across the Bay Area but for some girls, getting a new dress is a financial challenge. To help them, The Princess Project collects and gives away ‘gently used’ gowns to teens who can’t afford to new dress. The non-profit’s Silicon Valley chapter has set up a dress donation location at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto that will remain open through Monday March 7.
