Puppies For Adoption In Elk Grove Village Il

Clean, quiet - excellent choice I came here after graduating college and securing my first full-time job in Schaumburg. I can't speak for older folks, but as a recent graduate looking for reasonably-priced apartment in the suburbs, The Terrace is excellent. Pros: Quiet and well-insulated. I've gone in the hallways and heard one neighbor playing loud music while two other neighbors have babies, but I can't hear a thing in my room. Wish I would have had this in college...The surrounding neighborhood is also quiet and scenic, a nice change from the many apt complexes crammed up against the highway in these parts. Rooms are clean and I've never had problems with the office staff. Cons: The one-bedroom is indeed closer to a studio, or maybe something halfway between the two. There's no separated room for the bed-space, more of a part where the living room wall closes off a bit then opens into a small bed area. I personally don't mind for myself, but I wouldn't see myself being able to live in a one-bedroom here with my girlfriend.

If you want quiet.........keep looking I have lived in this complex for 12 years, the first 8 years where good the last 3 Not so much. Since this place went condo all the rules and regulations from the apartment management company have gone out the window. The association doesn't give a care about the owners or renters. They set down all new rules and then they dont follow through with any of them. The people who own and lease here currently are not American and do not know how to have respect for their neighbors or the property they live on. The only reason I have stayed so long isnformthe convenience of the neighborhood and its surroundings. Please think twice about renting or buying here. You won't get what you pay for I've lived at the Terrace for 4 years in their "1 bedroom" which is really a studio. Anyone considering moving here should make sure the first thing they do is see the ACTUAL unit before they sign the lease! Do not go by the model alone! The model they show you is extremely nice and well-maintained.

When I moved in, the carpets were dirty, the counter had a hole burned into the laminate, the bathroom was dirty, etc. I had to call them and tell them to vacuum and clean the carpets before I moved in any of my things. Over the years, the maintenance has been hit/miss. Over the past summer, there was a drought/heatwave and we were having issues with our AC. It took exactly a month before it was finally replaced. My first year here I had a very serious issue with the radiator leaking and it caused some kind of fungus or mold to grow out of my carpet. But the response on that was very quick and they were very thourough about cleaning it up. The shower is probably the worst. You need to let it run for a good 10 minutes to get it to a consistant temp. Sure it will get hot right away, but if you don't let it run, then it could change to ice cold, then boiling within seconds. I know I have been over-paying for space since I moved in. The only reason I've stayed this long is out of convenience.

Storage space: there are a lot of closets here which has been a life saver considering the small size of the apartment. However, the doors are the folding kind on the tracks, and they're very creaky and on the cheap side. I've had to fix them myself a few times. Quiet: If your first priority is privacy, you'll get it.
Auto Repair Ticket SoftwareI don't know a single one of my neighbors.
Dr Bloom Weight LossThey'll all say "Hello" if you see them in the hallway, but that's it.
American Standard Ac Unit WarrantyI've never known a single name. It was nice at first, but over the years I think I'd rather have more of a neighborly environment... in case you need to borrow sugar, that sort of thing. Also, you won't hear a thing through these walls - out in the hallway, or through the wall to the next apartment - the soundproofing is very good.

The only time you'll hear anyone outside of your apartment is if they're right outside your door. However I should note that I lived on the top floor with no one above me - who knows if it's the same floor to ceiling. Safety: With the neighborhood being littered with schools, churches, and playgrounds, it's a very safe neighborhood. I've never thought twice about being alone outside at night. Bottom line: look elsewhere. This wasn't the worst apartment I've ever seen, but for your money you can do a LOT better, even in the immediate area. no one ever called me back about the Terrace apts.e eve I've been here about 4 months now, but so far, I love it. The apartment is great, I have an awesome kitchen counter so I don't need a table (I live alone, but I'm the smallest apartments so this saves a lot of space for me). Dogs are welcome and there are a ton of them around here-a big plus especially for a large breed owner like me. Also, it's not far from shopping in both Elk Grove and Woodfield.

Would love to see this place but... You call the number provided, the voice instructions are to text someone's cell phone. I did so and only received a response back that she wouldn't be able to meet for 4 days, I asked what was available and no response. I love this property from the looks on paper, but may have found another apartment while waiting for a response from this person. Great location, quiet and spacious I have lived in this complex for many years. It is a great location, close to everything - shopping, movie theaters, restaurants, forest preserves and hospital. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is safe with good schools and parks. I see people riding bikes and walking their dogs or with their kids all the time in the warmer months. I find the building and my apartment very quiet, never had any problems with noise. The rooms are large and closets are spacious. I enjoy the pool and fitness center as well. I see some other reviews have commented on maintenance.
