The Seoul Central District Court indicted two South Koreans with the surnames Han and Kim on charges of illegally selling used car parts to North Korean agents, Yonhap reported Monday. According to South Korea's prosecution, the trading activities took place between November 2014 and June 2015, until Chinese customs returned two containers of 1,000 small and 263 large tires. During that time period, Han, 59, and Kim, 47, met with North Korean agents of the Reconnaissance General Bureau several times in the Chinese border city of Dandong, according to the report. The pair is being accused of supplying tires for military use in North Korea, supplying the goods in a process that was made to appear as if they were exporting to the Chinese market. North Korea has been facing a shortage of tire supplies since the sanctions of May 24, 2010, according to South Korea press.
In a separate charge, Han was charged with attempting to circulate counterfeit U.S. dollars after being requested to do so by North Korean agents in China. Han had explored the possibility of circulating the bills in April 2015 but decided it would be too risky. The bills were poorly manufactured and included a misspelling of the word "Department" on the U.S. Treasury seal that is featured on the front of the bill, according to Yonhap. In May, a large stack of counterfeit North Korean bills was found at a Seoul thrift store. The counterfeit money was printed in 5,000 North Korean won denominations. You don't have permission to access /a/5050.htmlCompare Japanese High Quality and Reliable used tires with high performance, available for import korea KOKUBU SHOKAI CO., LTD.
