I have tried others but they wear out to fast, my bike makes 148 ft lbs torque I found this tire gives me best mileage and grips great in turns. I've tried them all, this tire grips all the way down! I've only got caught in the rain once. It worked fine as I don't push my luck on wet roads. I don't think anyone can say they lean any bike too far in the wet. As for longevity, not great! 2500 miles and I'll be replacing the rear with another M3. Because I need to know my tires will hold when I'm hanging all the way out! No Good On a VFR These tires where OK for about the first 1-2K miles. After that the rear stared to wear really quick and developed a flat spot. The front looks good but is very, Very unstable. Low speed turning is down right dangerous (wheel pulls in the directions of the turn). Painted road lines will throw these tires all over the place.

Same with cracks & waves in pavement. I cannot recommend these tires at all. My cheapo' Cheng-Shinn dual sport tires handled better even after they where worn out. In my opinion stay away from Shinko Verge 2X. Eric (Palm Desert ) Killer Performance Tire That Lasts Don't have any doubts about getting this tire. I ride a modified KTM 990 SMR and this tire holds up to the abuse. Very little slip on corner exit, great on the brakes and with corner entry. The tire is surprisingly sticky and retains heat well, but will suffer edge-wear if you ride in the canyons often. My center is still good, but sides have expired. Rear tire lasted 2400 miles of aggressive riding. You might do better if you had TC. Better than Dunlop Q3 and almost as sticky. Worse mileage than Sportmaxx II, however the Rosso III is more capable for those who want more performance. Highways, canyons, knee-dragging, panic stops, wheelies, rain, even some dirt trails. This tire was tested and passed with flying colors.
