Our Labradors have been screened for Hip/Elbow Dysplasia and have clearances in the following: Eyes, Cardiac Echo Doppler, PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse), CNM (Centronuclear Mypopathy), and HNPK (Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis). All of our dogs are also tested and confirmed to be clear of the D Gene. This gene is the color gene that produces “silver” and other colors not in Labrador Standard.  A True Labrador Retriever should be D Gene Clear. Any puppies in a litter not kept as “show prospects” will be placed into working and companion homes. These puppies are placed on a Limited Registration with a strict spay/neuter contract. With this registration you will be able to compete in agility, obedience, and hunting trials with your versatile Labrador. I was initially impressed that she would not just let anyone adopt her puppies. She really cared about what type of family and environment she would be sending one of her babies to. As soon as my puppy, Nikki was born, she was always available by phone and in constant contact with pictures , emails and phone calls. She was incredibly helpful in making sure I was prepared for my puppies arrival. When my beautiful Nikki arrived she was even more adorable than the pictures. She was the exact size and coloring I expected. She had a long plane ride but I could tell she would be a delight. She was immediately friendly. I took her my the vet the next day. My new puppy was in great health. My vet was impressed with Barbara as a breeder based on all the information I had given him about my new puppy. I have had Nikki for about 3 weeks. I still cannot get over how much I love having her in my home.

She has such a sweet personality with the right amount of beagle spunk. She is so friendly. She loves being around other dogs and young children. I and am still in contact with Barbara. I consider her to be Nikki's first mommy. I know in the future I will be looking to add another one of her beagles to my home. I am so very pleased that I chose Scarlett's Old English Pocket Beagles.  Every word about the love and care the puppies receive, is true.  The first time you hold your puppy,you can tell how loving she is and how much love she has received.  Lily isnt shy or frightened and she is very social.  I have had her for 10 days and she has adjusted very well.  We give Lily the love and care that she has been used to.  She is so smart and learns quickly and sleeps through the night. Barbara, the breeder, kept me up to date on Lily's progress often.  What an exciting experience!  I received pictures and news often about how Lily was doing, such as when she started eating food and when she went to the vet for her checkup.

I am a travelnurse and my puppy adapts so well and isso smart.  We could tell immediately thatBarbara and Al loved and took great carewith the puppy from the first day.  Weare so glad we purchased our new companion from Scarlett's Old EnglishPocket Beagles.  MH      Its time for my walk!​From the beginning I was impressed with the fierce loyalty Barbara has to her dams, sires and puppies.  I never had to "apply: for a puppy, but that application stated to us that she really cares about who took her puppies.  Barbara e-mailed me weekly once we met the criteria and knew that our turn had come for the colors of our choosing.  She was also available by phone anytime I needed her.  She carefully outlined everything we would need and what to expect.  I couldn't believe how our two girls were already about 90% potty trained when we brought them home!!  It was obvious that Barbara and Aldan had spent a lot of time with them.  They are smart, loving, curious and funny puppies.  

We drove five hours up and back to pick them up, and it was worth every minute.  We couldn't be happier with our experience.  Snoopy is the joy of our            family.  He is such a happy           and fun loving dog.  He            gives and receives love            from all in the family.           Thank you for selling us           such a special dog.                The Piccoli FamilyWatson is one yr old today, and I  wantedto tell you our lives are forever changedsince making Watson a part of ourfamily.
