We adopt beagles to families within Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and have also placed beagles into loving homes in Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. If you adopted from us as BREW Midwest, rest assured we are still here for you and will honor all contracts. The contest is over and the votes are in. We will post the top 13 pictures in a few days. Thank you to everyone for your support! We receive pleas on a daily basis from shelters, animals control officers, vet offices and the general public asking for assistance in placing beagles in need. Most of the time, the request for assistance is the dogs last chance…and if we can’t help because of our lack of foster homes, the beagle usually find his/her life on the line. Unfortunately, we NEVER have enough foster homes. Please consider becoming a Midwest BREW foster home and experience the joy of saving one beagle at a time in your own home. What a wonderful way to teach your family and friends about giving back and making the world a better place.

The average stay for a beagle in a foster home is two to three months. Some beagles take longer to place and some are placed shortly after arriving at their foster home. These sweet little hounds are depending on you to help them in their time of need…will you be there to provide a temporary home, love, and guidance until their “FOREVER” home is found? Midwest BREW does not operate a kennel or shelter, so foster homes are critically important to the work we do. Click on the "Fostering" tab at the top of the page to learn more or email us. Don't forget to visit our store for all your beagle related shopping needs! Please visit the Store tab at the top of this page to purchase Midwest BREW and beagle related items. They make great gifts and all proceeds from the store go directly to the rescue. Senior Beagles deserve a great home too! Please consider adopting one of our senior beagles! Midwest BREW is proud and excited about our senior beagle program: Amazing Assortment of Retired Beagles or AARB for short.

Our AARB program includes a reduced adoption fee for our available beagles that are age 8 and older and a newly instituted AARB Fund which we will use exclusively to help our senior beagles. More information about our AARB program and our new AARB Fund, can be found by clicking the "AARB Senior" link located in the gray bar at the top of each page or click here for a direct link. We have several special events coming in the next few months, in addition to our regular monthly adoption events. Click on our Events/Calendar link at the top of this page for more information. At this time, MADACC has an in-house and foster-based adoption program which focuses on the placement of our largest population of animals; cats, Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes. While you will see many animals and many other breeds of dogs on our PetHarbor page, those animals are on stray hold, and not available for adoption. Dogs under 40lbs, and purebred large dogs are always transferred to rescue partners (unless medically untreatable or behaviorally unsafe) for adoption.

It is the cats and dogs that are considered “pittie type” that need our resources to provide a second chance to, so that is what we focus on. The only animals that are available for adoption can be viewed by clicking the following link: The only time we adopt out dogs of any breed to the public is if the finder of the animal is interested in adopting the animal that they brought in if that animal goes unclaimed by an owner. Adoption Fees are as follows: If you are interested in adopting a cat, Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix, please contact us and submit an application. Other animals on our website will be transferred to area shelters and rescue partners for adoption. If you find an animal and bring it in to MADACC, and are interested in adopting the animal if it is not reclaimed by an owner, please fill out an application while at our facility and you will have priority adoption status for that animal. Please note that finders will still need to go through the same approval process as any other potential adopter.
