I was surprised when I installed it the first time because it has a rotating hose. Meaning, the hose can rotate unlike the ones that slowly point away after placing it back on the handle rest. Also, the stop button works really well and does not leak. Just make sure you remove the old plumbers tape from the pipe, and wrap 2 times around the shower pipe with new plumbers tape when you install it so it will not leak. Luckily, I had some laying around the house and installed it with plumbers tape. The direction didn't mention it and I forgot about it. Also, the direction say no tools necessary to install. I agree hand tightening is all I needed, but you might need pliers or something to uninstall the old one--like I did. The cord is stiff out of the box, but after running hot water for a few minutes after first installed--and normal use--it is not stiff anymore and it is always flexible.
Overall, I highly recommend this product because it has good pressure, does not leak, it can rotate without getting tangled, and it has lasted under a lot of use without any issues or getting clogged. Places That Buy Used Laptops In MichiganThere is little change to the water temp. when I shut it off for a moment. Something I couldn't do before, as I would have to shut the water off, and then re-regulate the temperature, by fiddling with, the water valve on the shower wall. I wanted to be able to turn the flow off and on from the spray handle. This does this excellently. I did not buy this to conserve water although I'm sure that I am accomplishing just that. That feels as warm and comfy as the water that comes through the shower head. Installation is easy and requires no special tools. I was able to install with only my fingers and tightened only hand tight. Works fine without any leaks. I recommend this to all owners of a shower faucet. If you want more shower spray configurations you'll have to select a different model; this only has on and off with one spray pattern; which is fine with me. They should be selling this unit for $40 or $50 dollars. For $12 it is a steal. I did remove the flow restricter to increase water volume dispensed. I use it in a large "garden tub" to bath my dog, and being able to stop water flow without shutting off faucet is great!! Also the smaller diameter head is good size for this use. Yes (0) No (0)  Report Yes (0) No (0) Verified purchaser Quick and easy to install. Not fancy, but efficient. While water-saving shower heads can cut back our ecological footprint drastically (which is why Simran was promoting them on Oprah last week), there is an even easier, though perhaps not as luxurious, option - the navy shower. This is the term used for a water saving technique for showering, popularized (well, invented at least) by the navy to save precious on-board rations. The basic idea is to get yourself wet all over, as soon as you turn the shower on, and then turn it off while you soap up before, finally, rinsing off.
Apparently, a typical shower takes as much as 230 L (60 US gallons) of water, while taking a navy shower can use as little 11 L (3 US gallons); one person can save 56,000 L (15,000 US gallons) per year! This author has actually been sporadically using this technique for some time, without ever realizing it had a name, and it’s not as uncomfortable as it sounds. The only drawback is having to contend with a weird reaction from your spouse when they ask what you are doing in the bathroom, and you tell them you are taking a shower, despite the complete silence.OK, we’re pretty sure this isn’t going to catch on with everyone, but for those of you who are deeply concerned about your water use, and willing to try something new, check out this info over at Wikipedia for full instructions. For those not willing to part with their ten minutes in hot-water heaven, you can also see our guide to greener showers here, and here.
