Puppies For Adoption In Palm Harbor Fl

You can make a difference! GET YOUR OWN 2016 CALENDAR Our calendar features previous Dogma dogs that have found their forever homes and are living the good life now. The cost of the calendar is $16, which is a tax deductible donation to Dogma Pet Rescue, Inc. Your purchase will help pay to Dogma’s rescue dogs in foster care still waiting to be adopted out. Dogma relies solely on donations made by the public to continue rescuing good dogs in need, and every dollar goes directly towards our dogs’ care. Many thanks from all of us at Dogma for sharing our dream. Adopting from Dogma Brings Good Karma! Dogma Pet Rescue, Inc. was founded on January 6, 2010 and is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization as well as a registered charitable organization in the State of Florida (CH34850). Dogma is an all-volunteer, all-pet rescue with an emphasis on rescuing mixed breed dogs (mutts!) in need. Dogma’s mission is to rescue good dogs, adopt them to the best possible homes and have fun doing it!

Dogma rescues abandoned, abused and displaced dogs who would otherwise have nowhere to go and/or would be euthanized. Dogma is often a rescue of last resort. Dogma pays for all of the necessary vetting of each dog prior to adoption. Every Dogma dog is spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested and vaccinated (age appropriate). shelters who will kill them on the dates given. We do not kill dogs. On the contrary, we do everything to save them, like posting their pictures and info here. We will pull these dogs from the shelter and vet them and find them homes but we need a foster home where they can stay while they wait for their forever home. We will not sugarcoat or hide the fact that dogs are killed everyday in county shelters because there are not enough homes for them. Please read the Letter From A Shelter Manager. Our adoption procedure consists of an adoption application, a homecheck/homevisit and communication with the family's current veterinarian. Every one of our animals are spayed/neutered before going to their new forever home...no exceptions, so please don't ask. All our dogs up for adoption have a donation fee. The fee depends on the dog; breed, age, size, and medical expenses incurred by rescue. We are not a shelter but individual foster homes.

We always need volunteers. If you have any room in your home and heart, please consider fostering! If you can't foster but still want to help, contact us. RIP - Humans Failed Him If you find that you can not adopt from us, please adopt from someone else. A list of local shelters and rescues can be found right here on Petfinder. There are millions of homeless animals counting on you to do the right thing. Don't breed or buy while homeless animals die. Foster Homes and Volunteers NeededTemporary foster homes are such a vital part of our organization since we operate through a network of foster homes rather than a shelter facility. One person CAN make a difference in the life of a dog or cat. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs and cats we can save. Sometimes it may be hard to let go when an adoptive family is found; however, it is very emotionally rewarding to know that you have helped save the life of the animal you

Viciously attacked by other dogs, the left side of Oogy's head, from behind his eye to his ear, was torn completely off - his jawbone and skull irreparably damaged. He was then thrown into a cage where he would have bled to death if not for the sudden raid on the dog fighting ring by the police who took Oogy to a vet who nursed him back to life. Despite his horrible ordeal, Oogy is a real sweetheart and was adopted by a loving family.
