Discharge inks are water-based but not all garments can be discharged. Glitter flakes are added to the ink and can be used as accents in a design or as the entire print. Glitter ink will retain its shiny appearance but may flake off over time. Also an additive, puff ink can be added to any design to achieve a 3D effect. During this printing process, the screens are elevated above the fabric by 2-3mm to enable the full amount of ink to flow onto the garment and not get stuck in the screen. After rubbing the paste on the fabric, the fabric is dried for about 30 minutes before it is passed through the curing machine for heat treatment at 150 degree Celsius. A lower heat temperature may generate lesser puff while a high temperature may adversely affect the color of the base fabric and so it is important to examine the temperature before processing the fabric in the curing machine. After drying and heating the stained fabric, the rubber printed area becomes puffy and that is why this printing process is termed as Puff Print. Emboss prints have a professional finish once they are heat set. Rubber printed fabrics are washable and fully dry cleanable – easy to maintain. Excellent rubber print results can be achieved easily onto 100% cotton through to 100% Polyester Emboss print supports a large color range and the left over ink is reusable.

Foam printed fabrics have an attractive look at the first sight. Rubber prints are being widely used on Knitted or woven T-shirts and lowers, Jerseys, Polo T-shirts, Sweat shirt and Zippers. They are the hot favorites of the youth.
