Black Tie By LoriWhen I called Bridals by Lori and told them my budget, they were nice but sweetly told me that the gowns on the regular floor started at the top of my price range and that they would likely have trouble finding anything for me. I thought that would be that but then the salesperson told me about the "outlet" section of the store where they have "as is" sample sale dresses from previous seasons that are significantly marked down. I figured why not check it out and made the appointment. Went to the appointment with my family in tow (mom, sis/MOH, future mother-in-law, and grandma). When we showed up, we were met by the consultant Michele, who was bubbly, sweet, and fun right from the start. Since this was my first bridal gown experience, I had some ideas in mind but wasn't sure where to start. She took me to a small room where there were a few racks of sample sale dresses and we started picking some out. Michele was awesome and super patient as I modeled different dresses for my family, finally narrowing it down to 2.

That was when she really stepped it up, putting my hair up and picking out different veils for me to try, getting different jewelry and shoes to match, and trying different hair pieces. She didn't complain when I went way over the appointment time as my family and I debated between and retried the top 2 dresses and took millions of pictures (and shed a few tears). In the end, even though I hadn't planned on buying anything that day, the 3rd dress I tried on was definitely "the one" and I bought it on the spot. Michele truly made our experience awesome from start to finish and I'd recommend her (and the outlet section) to any bride without a super high budget. My dress ended up being ~$1K and they even threw in a free pair of dress shoes because I bought it on the same day. Dress and shoes, check! I went on a trunk show day so they were busy and I had to wait about 10 minutes before my consultant was ready, but the receptionist showed us the closets and let us start looking for dresses while we waited, so I didn't feel they wasted our time. My consultant was extremely respectful of my budget (~$1000) and encouraged me to try a variety of dresses since I didn't know what I wanted. I never felt rushed or pressured and really enjoyed the whole experience. I will absolutely take each of my sisters there when they get engaged. Bella BridesmaidsI was in need of a formal dress for a family wedding and I was 7 months pregnant. Needless to say, I was over the moon to find Mandi at Bella Bridesmaids! As soon as I walked in, she and the other women working there were so attentive (offering me water and a seat) while Mandi pulled several maternity dresses for me to try on. I absolutely loved every dress and felt really excited to actually go to a wedding very pregnant!!! Mandi had amazing suggestions with each dress and showed me all of the color choices to pick from. I received the dress in a timely manner and Mandi recommend a great alterations shop not far from the store.
