The reason is it cleans any/all debris out of the pool as it circulates the water through its attached filter. Circulating the water inside the pool helps prevent bacteria growth. When the pool is being used, keep the pump running for at least 8 to 10 hours each day for optimal performance. In addition to that, you have to clean the filter as well. They need to be backwashed and the cartridge filter needs to be changed as well when they get dirty.

Hotel is well maintained friendly staff always willing to assist especially the tall bell man i forgot his name and the navigator upstairs we enjoyed our stay but the food is a bit expensive will definitely recommend to other friends and family Wanted to share our experience from this amazing resort this past week. We stayed from Monday to Monday August 15-22, 2016 & loved every minute. Alexis is an amazing ambassador for the hotel and Curaçao. We travel extensively and he truly is a cut above everyone else. Not only is he friendly, professional and caring, but he knows everything about... I am a fussy New Yorker...there is nothing wrong with the furniture, the beds are comfortable, you are near (walking distance) to shops, restaurants and Queen Wilhelmina pontoon bridge, and not far from airport. Ocean view balcony room is great and well worth the upgrade. Everyone we encountered was gracious and was interested in our needs being met. We recently visited Curacao during a port stop from our Carnival cruise.

The Renaissance Hotel is a well kept secret for those looking for an inexpensive excursion not offered by the cruise lines. When we arrived we make a quick walk - less than 5 minutes (come off the ship and turn right to walk towards the Renaissance shopping district)... I traveled to Curacao with my mom recently for a girls trip and stayed at the Renaissance. Overall, it's a very nice hotel, but the housekeeping team did not seem to care to clean the rooms or provide the proper supplies after cleaning the rooms (towels, washcloths, etc). We checked in on a Saturday and did not have housekeeping come... Stayed for 5 nights. Excellent hotel, wonderful staff especially Shekina, close to down town, shopping and dining. Beach is a blast with bar and snacks. Hotel restaurant Nautilus and XQST is good. Prices may be a little high but okay We were a party of 4. Saw this beautiful pool from the cruise ship as we were docking. Decided to go to thehotel and purchased a day pass.The salt water pool was awesome.
