Pet Friendly Units For Sale Gold Coast

Awesome Apt in an Awesome Location The Bernardin has it all. The spacious apartment we moved into was immaculately cleaned prior to our arrival. While a few minor maintenance issues existed, management fixed them within 24 hours. I can't say enough about the friendly tenants and the even friendlier concierges. While we haven't used the various amenities as of yet, the pool is sparkling, the hot tub inviting, and the fitness equipment is brand new! Just a matter of time. The location is prime - a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, nail salons and other businesses are just a few steps away. The red line is one block west and Michigan Ave is one block east. In Chicago, it is generally accepted that the Gold Coast is the most exclusive neighborhood in town. And according to those who live on the Gold Coast, it is Astor Street that enjoys the reputation for being the most distinctive. Amidst the stately homes and tree-lined walks of this landmark street, you'll find Astor House, where refinement and attention to personal service have not become lost arts. You'll see the refinement in the subtle richness of the lobby decor, accented with fresh flowers each day.
The views of the city and Lake Michigan, whether from your apartment or from the private rooftop pool and sun deck, enhance your sense of what city living is all about. The Gold Coast is one of my favorite spots on Oahu, I live across the way and spend a lot of time doing business, and I am either surfing, running, dining, or spending time at friends’ homes “talking story.” This part of town is located on Waikiki’s Gold Coast at the Diamond Head end of Kalakaua Avenue. I usually say Gold Coast starts at the intersection of Kapahulu Ave and Kalakaua Ave. As I walk down Kalakaua Ave, there are several different landmarks, including Kapiolani Park, the Aquarium, The Natatorioum, Diamond Head Crater, and many beautiful beaches along many high-rise hotel/residential buildings.
Your backyard views are of Diamond Head, and your front yard is always the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Kapiolani Park lies in the middle of the two. This park is a giant, triangular-shaped lawn where people play soccer, fly kites, walk their dogs, and jog to their heart’s content. As you move South down the street you stumble upon the Aquarium, and a little ways down is the Natatorium. The Natatorium is a WWI memorial built in 1927 to honor Hawaii’s casualties from the “great war.” Its 1,000-meter pool was used by generations of residents for swim meets and recreation. The Natatorium fell into disrepair and was closed by the Department of Health in 1979. It currently is in no-use and simply a convenient place to park your car to go to Kaimaina Beach (also known as San Souci Beach). As we keep walking down Kalakaua Ave., we come across the famous Outrigger Canoe Club and the non-profit Elks Club. After the two clubs you start to enter all the high-rise residential/hotel buildings.
These buildings, in my mind, would be an ideal place to live if you’re looking to live on a beach and have the city steps away. I went to few open houses and came upon beautiful secret hidden gems. The price range that I viewed was from $995,000 – $4,890,000. Now you must be saying to yourself, “what does that buy me, besides living on the most amazing place on Earth?” Good question, and what I will say is a 1-2 bedroom condo or single family home with 1 or 2 bedrooms, with a parking stall. The living area ranges from 759 sq. feet – 1,820 sq. feet. Homes along Kalakaua Ave. offer outstanding views and ideal Hawaii living Below are the buildings I went and viewed property at: 3033 B Kalakaua Ave. All these units were remodeled and in move-in ready conditions. Some buildings were pet-friendly (with restrictions of weight) and maintenance fees were fairly reasonable ranging from $25 per month (one being a historic home) to $800 per month. This part of town is a great place to reside, whether it is for a bunch of months out the year if you’re escaping a winter place, a year-round spot, or as an investment property.
