Just screw the bulb in, aim the sensor and viola! This works great and picks up movement from far away. The only thing is it sometimes doesn't turn off for a long time. I'm not sure why. I feel this was a good deal and works great! It stays on longer than 1 minute (about 5) and no working of the settings seems to fix that. I bought 2 of them for backyard security and they were easy to set up. They both worked as promised for 2-3 days then both units just turned on and stayed on. I found that the battery must be installed for the light to turn off. I also found it works with CF bulbs as well as incandescent. After trying to reset several times with different batteries and settings - light just stayed on. Based on other's similar experiences and the possibility of getting another... After risking life and fingers removing this thing from the clamshell, it was DOA. Tested it on 3 different light fixtures and swapped out four 9 volt batteries and still no joy.
