We have Candlewood Lake, the largest man made lake in Connecticut. It is a popular spot in the summer season and offers the residents a variety of water activities. It offers a vibrant downtown center with many boutique shops and restaurants. There is also easy access to many larger stores along Route 7 that many people find very convenient. New Milford is divided into a few different sections, each with their own flair. Northville, Merryall and Gaylordsville offer a more rural feel to the residents, where Southern New Milford can be quicker access to larger shopping areas and an easier commute to I84. New Milford offers homes of all sizes and prices, subdivisions, more private locations, beautiful estate homes. It is a very diverse town, wonderfully Connecticut through and through.
