Make each strand 6' 10" when finished. This gives you extra working room on the ends. 2 Apply the first bead on the line. This will be the top bead. With the bead two inches from the end, loop the line through the bottom of the bead again and out the top to lock it in place. Apply hot glue into the top of the bead hole. Put the loose end of the line into the hot glue inside the top of the bead but don't come out the bottom this time. This makes a loop above the bead to hang the strand by. Keep adding beads to the line all the way to the bottom in a pattern. Thread beads to the 6' 10" length. Thread the end back through the last bead to lock the bead on.

Apply hot glue inside the hole of that bead to lock the bottom of the strand. Cut off excess line. Repeat this process with the rest of the strands. 3 Hammer small gold nails into a painted board 3 feet long. Put them evenly one inch apart across the board. Angle the top of each nail upward to hang the strands of beads over. Nail or screw this board over a doorway or window. As you finish each strand of beads, hang it on a gold nail.
