Through time, it has been home to a small café, gas station, motel, bait and tackle, hunting supplies and the original home of the Deal's Gap Riding Society.

Times have changed though, and now we offer two ways to shop for the only original and official world famous Dragon shirts, memorabilia and collectibles: 1. Come to our store at Deals Gap, NC at the head of the Dragon, or 2. Shop online. Presently, the store located at Deals Gap is the base of operations for the Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort. Open 7 days a week throughout the riding season, we are home to all the original Dragon memorabilia from several different styles of Dragon t-shirts and apparel, maps, shotglasses, patches, pins, and keychains, as well as Dragon decor for your home and bike accessories. Plus, in-store you can get all the famous dragon stickers, which show your friends that you have successfull navigated through the Dragon. The Dragon Among The Top Motorcycle Roads in the South & in the US Once again, the Dragon has been recognized as one of the top five motorcycle roads in the South and in the US. In both lists, the Dragon ranks #2 in top motorcycle roads. And, along with the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway ranks at #3, and the Blue Ridge Parkway ranks at #4.
