I expect this one to last longer as I now know its requirements. First, as stated, this faucet is not metal and will not take alot of abuse. Hanging heavy wet items from the gooseneck will eventually lead to leaks as there are no washers at connection points.

Also, do not over tighten the faucet handles for the same reason as stated above. Other than that, this is a good product. Easy to install and maintain. Nothing fancy, but clean and practical. By the way, this unit is 8" and works just fine on a 2 hole sink. So I went back and bought a Peerless faucet about three times what I paid for the faulty one, but I had it installed and working properly in 15 minutes.
