)– Sun Pet announces rare triggerfish available for sale from Bali, Indonesia. Rare fish collectors now have a chance to own the aberrant Trigger. The saltwater fish is believed to be an Xanthic Undulate Trigger (Balistapus undulates) that was recently collected in Lombok Strait, a strait connecting the Java Sea to the Indian Ocean. The fish was collected using a hand-net method and was found approximately 6 miles off-shore at a depth between 50-65 feet, surrounded by typical Undulate Triggers. The rare fish is approximately four inches long and displays a predominately light yellow body, white face, and bright orange-colored fins, tail and markings around the eyes and mouth. These markings are atypical from the standard markings found on the B. undulates trigger, making this fish a very unique find. Barry Wisebram, General Manager of Sun Pet, explains that “on very rare occasions these types of aberrant species are collected and offer opportunities that rare fish collectors wait for.”
