The bath is super deep for ultimate luxury and space inside the bath. The bath is made of two acrylic sheets with an extra strong stone resin interior. This gives the bath weight, a quality feel and the excellent thermal properties so necessary in today's eco conscious world. Being a double ended bath, it is perfect for sharing for an extravagant soak and come complete with traditional ball and claw stone resin feet in a white finish. The bath has two centre tap holes for deck mounted bath taps (180mm centres). Please note the bath stands 635mm high due to its super deep shape. We recommend the use of a shallow seal P trap bath waste when running the waste pipe above floor level. If the waste is visible we recommend our chrome plated Shallow seal p trap bath waste. Chrome plated bath shrouds (to cover the hot and cold pipe rising to the taps), chrome plated exposed waste and overflows complete the look. It may also be necessary to purchase a chrome plated exposed S trap bath waste (if you waste pipe exits through the floor rather than the wall) and an chrome plated waste extension pipe for the complete look.

There are a few considerations you should take into account when choosing the most appropriate freestanding bath for your room design and for your plumbing. Firstly, there is the basic choice between traditional and modern designs. Traditional models tend to require chrome exposed fittings, whereas modern options often (although not always) have a skirt around the outside allowing for less expensive concealed wastes to be used. Secondly, there is the choice between single ended baths (with one slope in the bath) or double ended baths (with a slope at each end of the tub).

If you have a symmetrical bathroom design the double ended freestanding bath will be the logical choice. The size of your bathroom will most likely be the deciding factor with freestanding baths as they require enough surrounding space to allow for access, cleaning and to provide the desired look. Installing a freestanding bath When planning the installation of your freestanding bath you need to consider the position of the waste and water supply. Generally, the waste outlet should be as close as possible to the bath - either in the floor below or out through a neighbouring wall. Chrome pipe is available to take the waste water away however, the standard length of this pipe is only around 550mm. Then you need to decide whether to have deck mounted, freestanding or wall hung bath taps. Many freestanding baths do not have a thick enough or flat enough ledge to take deck mounted taps. And in some the ledge will also be too thick to allow for many wall mounted options. So measure carefully before selecting your brassware.
