Luftenburg's Bridal INCPerfect DayI'm a plus size girl and my boyfriend and I just decided on a last minute thing to get married in Vegas while we are there for his training. My mom, sister and I all went dress shopping knowing we might have some trouble since my wedding date is in 4 weeks. I went to Alfred Angelo's website found 3 local bridal stores that carried the dress that I wanted and set out to look for the dress. The first store I went to the girls were very helpful but said they sold out of the dress I wanted and were unable to reach their supplier so they would have to call on Tuesday. So we set out to the second store which was Elegant Bride's. We get there and the two people there is the owner and her daughter I first ask if they carry Alfred Angelo in the style I wanted the owner asked me to pick it out in a magazine because it was too hard for her to look it up by style #. I find it in the magazine and her and her daughter tell me they sold out of this dress but they could call their supplier who would then call China to see if they could rush the dress.

When my sister and mom recommended trying Luftenburg's the two ladies started trying to discourage me going there. Saying I wouldn't find my dress there she guarantees it because no one will have a sample size larger than a 14. Then tells me that I was going to have to consider compromising on the dress I wanted and the color I wanted because it would just be too hard to get the dress I wanted in the time I needed. The owners daughter asked if we would like to know how much the dress was since they didn't have one in stock, my mom talking aloud said it would probably be close to $900 but for me not to worry because if it's the dress I want their getting it. The girl said my mom was actually right on the money that the dress was $899. I was so discouraged at Elegant Brides I nearly started crying so my sister and mom insisted we try Luftenburg's. So off we went to Luftenburgs with me depressed and unwilling to even shop anymore. When we got to Luftenburg's we were warmly welcomed by an associate who asked if we needed help.

I told her the designer I was looking for and she took us upstairs and led us to the new owner of Luftenburg's. As I was describing the dress to her my sister wanders over to the rack's just to look and there it is. The dress I have been looking for all day, in the size I needed. I was so happy I couldn't believe it after hearing how I would have to compromise on my dress from the ladies at Elegant Brides, who by the way started speaking in a foreign language right in front of us (rude), I found the dress I wanted. We wanted a style similiar to my dress in purple. We found one only its a little snug so they are going to remove the zipper and put a tie back for her and even add a white trim going across the bust like my dress. I was so excited I couldn't keep from smiling, my mom and sister said they were so happy that I was able to find my dress. Oh, and the dress that was going to cost me $899 at Elegant Brides was only $569 at Luftenburg's. Even when I got home I looked the dress up online to show my dad what I picked out because I was so exicted that I noticed on Alfred Angelo's website he prices the dress at $599, talk about a mark up at Elegant Brides. It's sad to hear the bad reviews that Luftenburg's is getting after my wonderful experience I had there. I guess some girls just really bridezillas. Formal Designs by EstherEsther is so amazing!!! Esther is so amazing!!! She loves what she does and helped me make decisions for my dress and accessories. She is patient with customers (gave me a 2 hour appointment).

I loved how she showed me a sample of what my dress could look like by getting the fabrics and dressing a mannequin so that I could get an idea on how the fabrics would look together for my dress. She gave me ideas on the beadwork, fabrics, and styles and she helped me create a unique wedding dress out of different dress pictures. Her patience and dedication to her work is great and she offered me affordable prices and helped me work with my budget. She gave me a list of prices and encouraged me to compare prices. I was treated not only with respect but also with much care and consideration. Everyone I came into contact with was very nice and polite. Veronica was my wonderful consultant and she helped me through this wedding dress journey.

She helped me narrow my dress choice down as well as helped me chose my beautiful wedding dress! My party was on the larger side, six ladies, and luckily Premier Bride allowed us to bring champagne and cupcakes! It was a magical experience and I cannot wait to use them for the rest of my bridal party.
