Our breeding program's main focus lies on good health, and temperament as we believe the dogs are family members and companions first and anything else after. Our days are dedicated to socializing and training each and everyone of our dogs, as we strongly believe that positive interaction enhances their personality and general well-being. We are centrally located on 20 picturesque acres in the Lansing Metro Area in Michigan: 3 hour drive from Chicago, Illinois and about 1 hr from the Detroit Airport DTW. We are German Shepherd breeders of high quality German Shepherds following the : All of our dogs are Hips and Elbows certified (A-Stamps) from Germany, schutzhund / IPO titled and Breed Surveyed. Our puppies come with AKC registration, dewormed, microchipped, with their first set of shots and with a written health guarantee.

For the love of the German Shepherd sport and the open lands, Team Nummer-Eins German Shepherds has recently relocated to Michigan from Southern California, bringing some of the best German Shepherds in the United States to the beautiful state of Michigan. We focus on bringing the best available genetics in the German Shepherd breed and carefully incorporate them into our bloodlines, forming a physically and mentally sound mother-line, which produces excellent results from each breeding. With our German Shepherds, we like to keep our focus on only a few breedings a year allowing us to have ample time to raise and train the next generation to propagate the bloodline into the future, ensuring good genetics in our dogs. We occasionally breed to forward our breeding program and sometimes have heavy boned, red and black German Shepherd puppies available for sale from our outstanding dogs. I found one in the Robb Report magazine. After finding the right dog – a German imported Doberman – I started to go to training class. Now, I had trained dogs in a group setting before but this was one-on-one training and after a few short lessons, me and my new dog were on the way. I kept up the training and then one day, the trainer I was using offered to sell me his business. Now I had been working with this gentleman for a few years and I studied hard and was a very dedicated protégé.

In 1995, we were approached by a great client who wanted one of the top German Shepherds in the world. We called our friends in Germany and after doing a search, we brought VA Larry Vom Grapenhoff Sch III KKLla Lbzto the United States. Larry was a great dog and his children are still winning all over the world. We train champions as well as family pets and service dogs. Many of the pictures you see on our site are of Imported Malinois and German Shepherds. Larry took North America by storm and won his first show and kept on winning until 1998 when he went to live with that loyal client in Guatemala.Most Recently, we opened our new southern kennels in Summerfield Florida, Between Ocala and The Villages. Training and breeding operations will now be based out of the Florida location, with shipping worldwide.  We still continue with our friends in Germany to custom import, train and show the world’s best Shepherds and Malinois. But we now are offering you our knowledge and experience and we look forward to not only helping you but helping your pet become a loving and obedient member of your home.
