Employees tend to be friends too, which makes it a nice place to work. The company is driving business growth and showing a commitment to find and keep quality people.
Backed by a strong and supportive parent organization. Cons Company is distributed and there are some silos , so it can be difficult to work together sometimes. Workload and expectations can be very high (both pros and cons). Advice to Management Focus on the business and do what's necessary to ensure long term success. Continue listening to employees. Be crystal clear on the vision, and trust that everyone will give 110% to get there, because we will. Jul 12, 2016 Helpful (2) I have been working at 3E Company full-time (More than 5 years) Pros - Small company feel but global reach- You get the opportunity to jump in immediately, it doesn't take years of ladder climbing to make a difference- large household name customer base Cons - Senior management strategy & direction is vaguely, if ever communicated.- Culture is very silo-ed and "Not my fault, not my problem"- HR policies are bizarre and randomly enforced Advice to Management -Don't think you're the smartest people in the room-Trust your employees with the truth- learn the difference between leadership and management- Focus on creating a culture or respect and collaboration Jul 11, 2016 Helpful (2) I worked at 3E Company full-time (More than 3 years) Pros Good learning opportunity personally for a period of time.
Cons Things became toxic when the former CEO was transitioned out. There was a glimpse of hope things would improve with a new CEO, however, the hope was short lived. There is no trust in the leadership and absolutely no respect from senior leadership to employees. Advice to Management Take the course Crucial Conversations so you can learn to listen to your employees. The community relies on everyone sharing – Add Anonymous Review Jun 24, 2016 Helpful (1) Pros No pros after recent changes to processes. working hard to deal with non experienced staff. no delegation to decision making. salary is a con as well. Advice to Management Stop new process cant work here any more. Mar 11, 2016 Helpful (1) I worked at 3E Company full-time Pros Good atmosphere, room for growth. Friendly co-workers and management. Cons No downsides really. Work could get a little monotonous at times. Advice to Management nothing really to add Oct 22, 2015 Helpful (2) I have been working at 3E Company full-time (More than 10 years) Pros 3E has a core contingent of very high quality and positive employees in most of the critical areas.
With very few exceptions the different groups enjoy working together and are improving with the changes to senior management. Focus shifting to sustainability and products from Sales first approach. Employee mentorship and development programs are seeing an increase in resources and focus. In general there are pretty substantial improvements being made at all levels. Cons Some scars and bad habits remain. Increased workload and requirements coming from additional Verisk expectations cause temporary disruptions. Retention of key staff must be increased to continue with improvements. Oct 20, 2015 Helpful (2) I worked at 3E Company (More than 3 years) Pros Nice company and culture in this company Cons Too far for me to commute Sep 23, 2015 Helpful (2) I have been working at 3E Company (More than a year) Pros New leadership and most recent hires are talented people who are helping make improvements. Cons The old-guard is less receptive to changes. Advice to Management Create an environment of trust and creativity.
